Robert Robbins, LMFT
Robert Robbins is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Swanson, Conti & Associates. He earned his Master’s Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and has been a valued member of the practice since 2014.
Before joining Swanson, Conti & Associates, Robert worked at the Family Service Agency of Burbank, where he provided therapy for adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. In addition to his clinical experience, he has spent over two decades mentoring and coaching youth as a USAA Swim Coach and AYSO Soccer Coach, giving him a strong connection to children, adolescents, and families both inside and outside the therapy setting.
Robert works with couples, parenting, individuals, and selected adolescents, helping clients navigate relationship struggles, stress, anxiety, communication issues, and major life transitions. He is known for his warm, approachable, and direct down-to-earth style, creating an environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported. His goal is to help people gain clarity, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and balance in their lives.
Beyond his clinical work, Robert is deeply committed to community involvement and service. He has volunteered with numerous charitable organizations supporting prostate and breast cancer research, PTSD awareness for veterans, first responder wellness, and the Special Olympics. He has also spoken at local schools on topics including peer pressure, self-esteem, confidence building, and adolescent development.
Robert is in the dissertation phase of his doctoral program (ABD — All But Dissertation) for his PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Social Psychology and Relationships at Liberty University. His doctoral work reflects his continued passion for understanding relationships, emotional connection, communication, and human behavior.
Robert remains committed to helping individuals, couples, and families build healthier relationships, navigate challenges with greater resilience, and lead more fulfilling lives.
